I went to a death gig
It was in a shed, pretty big
There were many types of bands
But this was more like a growling gang
There were 2 many singers
Shouting themselves hoarse – not a note
I watched them for some time
But couldn’t last long as it screwed my mind
I was on my own -
big & grown
I want to share -
my memory
I waited some
(Till I was) all but done
I had to leave
Before it peaked

[So here’s the thing ..

Charm the Queen

I went to a big gig
Found my way there when I heard the din
There was a band which sang death metal
Thought it would boil my senses in a kettle
There were 2 of them singers
Screaming their lungs out in a noisy growl
I waited there for some time
To give myself a chance to see what I could find
I was on my own
big & grown
I want to share -
my memory
But I lost my mind
That’s what I did find
I had to leave -
Before I freaked
[So here’s the thing ...
